End of year reflection

My 5 years at Riverdale school has been great. I have been in so many cool sports and classes with awesome teaches. My best friend Grace Waterland is so awesome!Camp probably the best first camp ever! I can't wait to be a year six!

Burger fresh recount

As I strolled to the hall I was trying to remember if I was in charge of bringing anything. My stomach swirled with nerviness's. I remember seeing the tables set up waiting for us the sound of chirping birds filleted it's way into my ear. The smell of damp grass filled my lungs. Remembering the taste of the burger we put together.

How do think burger fresh went?


I think it went really well.I enjoyed helping the little kids.I think well because everybody had a job and nobody missed out.


What was my job during burger fresh?


My job was line control I had to help the juniors to get to where  they need to be.But it was hard because sometimes I had to many at one time.

Looking back at our inquiry.

I have learnt that being in a job is harder than it looks and it isn't easy. I learnt that you have to do so many things just to get one business going.


What were some of the challenges when orginizing burger fresh?


Some of the challenges were making the envolopes and the toys. The most challenging thing was pationts.

My snow expirience

The snow is falling 

and I have freezing finger tips.

I glare out my window

Term 3 goals

School goal

Finish all my follow up tasks on time so I don't have to stay in at lunch time to finish it.

Social goal 

Help around the house so mum and dad don't have to do it all and do all my jobs so I don't get yelled at.

My narritive

I wake up I look around the sun is shinning through the crack in the roof. Smashed windows everywhere around me and I realise I am inside a haunted house. I look down at my knees they are covered in blood, my shorts are tatted and torn, my shirt has scratch mars on it and I wonder who had done it.The roof has a huge crack in it, it has come night now and all the windows are smashed. The strong wind forces me up against a wall , a piece of wood falls in front of me. And by now I was getting scared I could not find a door anywhere. And I think something is haunting me.I walk into a black room everything is covered in dust.There are ancient paintings on the walls. As I s creep slowly on I open an old wardrobe . . . . . Two red eyes are looking up at me. Ovesly this animal is old because  it's orange and red fur is all worn through to it's skin. All four legs have scares and scratches on them and it is very skinny so it hasn't eaten in like three or four years.Out of no where it stars to show it's sharp yellow teeth and growl at me.So I run for my life.I hide in an old rusty and dusty room hoping it doesn't find away in.And then I decide not to open any more doors just in case.Then I see something moving under  the bed slowly comes a green arm with a tatted brown shirt , next a brown show and then a zombie apares.I am trapped if I go out the old mutt will eat me and if I stay who knows what the zombie will do. As they zombie gets closer and the faint sound of howling gets louder I suddenly start to fall to the ground. . . . .  All of a sudden a loud chopper lands on top of the zombie.A man steps out of the chopper it is my dad.He is wearing his denim shorts and a dark blue shirt he has come to save me from this horrible nightmare.I step into the chopper it has emergency beds and chemicals.My mum and sisters are sitting on the bed.And we fly home happily.

How to fly a kite!

WALT: use short and long sentences & cunjunctions.

A kite is usually a big diamond that can fly. It is made out of light materials such as string, wood and plastic.

I'm going to teach you how to fly a kite.  Chuck it up into the sky while running. Hold on to the handle tight while unwinding the string but make sure it is a windy day. When it is in the air make sure it doesn't come down to low because it will fall down.

1] I would like to acheive all my maths and reading roations on Thursday or before Thursday.

a momment in time.

Standing at the starting line ready to face my contestents. I look gazed into Lily's eye's she looked detemind and nervous at the same time. I heard a loud bellow from behind me "Go." I dashed towords the first obstical Lily and Alithia were in front of meI tryed to get in front of Alithia but I couldn't. We got to the balence board. Nearly lost balence. When we got to the jumps I leaped in front of Alithia. I was terrified of slipping and hitting my head. Getting closer to my destination I felt my heart rissing in my cheast. I was determind to make it. I thudded across the finish line "Yes". I had finshed.

Best  activity


My best activity was the rocky shore  because I found a starfish.It was blue. I was excited when I found it.It was quite a challenge lifting the heavy rocks. I learnt that there is lots of other things out there I didn't know about.

Best game I played


my best game I played was the potato game because it was a challenge for me. i thought it was really fun. I learnt that I need to just go for it.

Hardest challenge

I think the hardest challenge was climbing Castle Rock because it was really step and windy. I felt really tired at the end.I learnt there is some really fit people in the class.

Biggest risk

I think climbing up to the lighthouse was the  most biggest risk because it was windy.It kept blowing me to the side.I felt kind of scared that I was going to fall.It was a challenge getting up because there was lots of steps.I learnt that I need to walk faster.

Funniest/best moment


The best moment for me was when all the adults put Mr McCallem in the sea.I felt excited.It looked like a challenge.I learnt even Mr McCallem can get dunked.
